The Overworld is a map that shows the other Mountains and Settlements in the area. The map is a close up view of the Region the player's Dungeon is located in. Players may access the Overworld after they have nearly completed Vengeance Quest.
The Overworld is home many Overworld inhabitants. A variety of Elves have settled in many areas throughout the map. Lower level Elves live in Villages. The number of Elves, as well as their Levels will increase in Towns, Cities, and especially in the Military structures like Keeps, and Fortresses, and so on. As players begin attacking these Elven Settlments, they will build up Hate from the Elves. This will cause the Elves to retaliate, by attacking the Overlord in their own Dungeon. Even when attacking Non-Military Settlements, the retaliations will come from a nearby Military structure. When attacking, Overlords should note which Military Settlements protect the Non-Military Settlements they are attacking.
Players can click on any Settlement or Mountain to learn more information about them. Selected Settlements will provide the player with the name of the Settlement, a brief description of the Settlement. It also allows the player to Raid or view the amount of Hate the Settlement has towards the player's Dungeons, if any.
Players may also view the interior of a Mountain by either double clicking on the Mountain or by selecting the magnifying glass. This view allows the player to see the Dungeons inside, which are unoccupied or owned by other players. If the player has Surveyed Dungeons in the Mountain, they can select the Surveyed Dungeons, and view which Resources are available in each.
Additionally, from in Mountain View, a player can select any Dungeon, and get a number of options that appear in a menu, on the left hand side. These options are explained with tool-tips and allow the player to do a variety of tasks including send shipments, Reinforce, Raid, as well as the ability to invite other Overlords to be a Friend or invite to join an Alliance.
From the Overworld map, players will recognize a series of tabs on the right side of the game screen. Many of these correspond to the options within the Dungeon, however, some serve different functions.
